There were all types of color and smiles at the children's area where the super-duo, Wondersiam, flew the Planet Awkward flag!
We gave each person their time in our chairs to show their creativity and shine in the moment. As always, we happily met several young-ones' requests for us to paint novel designs on the fly, including the super-duo above who decided their special powers included the ability to cast flowers out of their hands and bring more happiness to people! Needless to say, Wondersiam agrees that this is fabulous super-power to have in life!
And it must be noted that while waiting, several young-ones were kind enough to participate in our free flower drawing contest! They tapped into their own creativity and gave Wondersiam beautiful flowers grown within their own creative hearts:-)
Meantime, parents were free to listen to music, enjoy a refreshment and chill out in the lovely Thames Street Park/Garden. And, in an effort to keep the FUN in Festival for each family we kicked off our unique approach to handling the demand for color, so neither kids nor parents had to stand in line too long. The feedback was very positive so will keep it and build upon it for the future!
